Sjanghai Steak

If you have a craving for home made Chinese food, then this is the perfect recipe to try out.


  • 500 gr Tender Beef cut into blocks or strips.
  • 1 Chopped Onion
  • Little Chopped Green Pepper (yellow or red green peppers can be used)
  • 30 ml Soya Sauce
  • 25 ml Corn Flour (maizena)
  • 15 ml Sugar
  • 5 ML Robertson Zeal
  • Quarter cup of Cooking oil
  • Robertson Tenderiser


Mix all above ingredients together and marinate meat overnight.

Stir fry next day in warm cooking oil.

Serve with rice or Chinese noodles. Serve 4 people.
