Savoury Tuna Tart

Savoury Tuna Tart

Can be eaten as a supper dish, served with a potato salad or as a savoury tart.




Ingredients:

  • 4 Slices of White Bread
  • 2 Cups of Milk
  • 3 Eggs (Beaten)
  • Pinch of salt and a Little Pepper
  • 2 x 170 g Tins of Tuna (one with vegetable oil and one with water)
  • 1 415g Tin of Tomato and Onion Mix
  • 2 Cups of Grate Cheese
  • Thyme (to taste)

Optional: (use your own discretion here)

  • Robertson Italian Herbs
  • Paprika

Method:

  1. Soak the break in the milk till soft and mash with fork. Add salt (pepper, Paprika and Italian Herbs)
  2. Add Eggs
  3. Drain Tuna and add to the mixture.
  4. Add 2 Cups of Grated Cheddar Cheese
  5. Lastly add the tin of tomato and onion

Mix all ingredient together. Pour into Glass glass dish. Sprinkle with Thyme and bake for 60 minutes for 180 C
