Gold Reef City Brings You ‘More Baby Mama Drama” With Sifiso Nene

Known as a man of few words off the stage, and an award-winning juggernaut on it, local comedian Sifiso Nene is back and there’s “More Baby Mama Drama” at Gold Reef City, Jozi’s premiere entertainment hub in the south. Spanning two days, this popular comical spectacle will be taking place at The Lyric on Friday, 10 June and Saturday, 11 June 2016.

Following the success of his first one-man show titled “Baby Mama Drama”, Sifiso puts a humorous twist on this common, yet seldom addressed issue to which a large portion of the population can relate. The second instalment of the booming series promises more side-splitting humour, coupled with Sifiso’s quirky yet crisp comedic delivery.

Sifiso Nene

Sifiso is no stranger to the comedy stage with seven years’ experience and with various accolades, such as a South Africa Traditional Music Achievement Awards (SATMA) for the Best Indigenous Comedian, and SA Comics’ Choice Audience Choice Award.

The show also touches on other topics like taxi drivers, politics and “Nabanye” (the others), so for baby mamas or those with baby mama drama this is the show that will highlight the lighter side of these .subjects, with a heavy dose of humour.

“We are excited to have Sifiso kick off the second chapter of his one-man comedy tour at Gold Reef City. Hosting tremendous local talent is what keeps The Lyric top of mind at Jozi’s premiere entertainment venue in the South”, says Gareth Kaschula, Marketing Manager of Gold Reef City.

The show is set to start 8pm and tickets are available from Computicket and tickets range from R165pp
