Beef Stroganoff

Beef StroganoffBeef Stroganoff has never been quick, easy and tasty!  Follow this recipe and serve with rice or pasta (Serves 4-6 people).


  • 625-750g fillet, beef or soft shin
  • 2 small onions
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tsp flour
  • seasoning
  • 90g butter
  • 150ml sour cream
  • pinch of mustard


  1. Cut the meat into thin strips 50mm long and season.
  2. Fry the chopped onion in hot butter until golden.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the onions.
  4. Add the meat and fry for five minutes.
  5. Blend the sour cream with the flour and mustard, and pour into the pan.
  6. Stir well and cover the pan. Simmer gently for 10 minutes – until meat is tender.
  7. Add more sour cream before serving.
