There is a lot of uncertainty at the moment around the Johannesburg tolling systems. The current tolling system plans are available at an older My Jozi article (Click here to view). Following this article a number of readers wanted to know where they get the e-Tag from. I did some research and this is what i found…

From what i can gather, Sanral is offering two ways to register for e-Toll system:

• Customer Service Centers
  

There are located real Rigel Ave, Modderfontein Road, Rivonia Road and Grey Ave and will be operational from 6am to 10pm.

• Customer Services Kiosks at Malls

There will be various service kiosks at selected malls that will operate during normal mall operating hours. Below is a list of the malls that will have a Customer Services Kiosk:

I can not find confirmation is registration is already open or how much the e-Tag will cost. But i do know the cost of the tag will be credited to your e-Tolling account.
